New Family Addition
On March 3, 2009 we added a little 8 wk. old white and buff Shih Tzu to our family. Mercedes isn't sure what she thinks of her yet. Little Lexie we call her, came from a litter of 4 so she can protect herself pretty well. But, with the differnce in size, I have to keep my eye on both of them. (Picture will follow when I find time.)

Visit 2005 Alyssa's
Crazy Sunglasses day at Tuckaway for Alyssa and MeMa Shirley. These were made special for us by Mommie Wendy. Are we HIP or what?
We are a blended family of 2 girls and 3 boys. I came to the table with 2 beautiful Hall girls, Nancy and Wendy and Dan came with his 3 boys, Dan, Don and Dennis. We made our home in Wellsville, NY. After high school and college graduations the children spread their wings and both Nancy and Wendy ended up in Virginia; Dan in Jamestown, Don in Texas and Dennis in California.
I am a retired Traffic Distribution Manager for Alstom Air Preheater and Dan owns a small business "Dan Shea's Septic Tank Services". We do a little traveling, me more than Dan as he is not retired. Had a wonderful 15 day cruise to Hawaii with my sister and 2 girlfriends this past October. What a wonderful experience. Hawaii, Florida, Arzonia, St. Marteen,Bahamas, Nags Head, Myrtle Beach etc. As you can guess I love the warm sunny climates.
Dan and I have both lost our youngest child. Dennis (1994) in an auto accident in San Bernadino, Ca.; and Wendy Joy to cancer in 2006. Our lives have changed drastically. We struggle to resume some resemblance of life and concentrate on our remaining children and grandchildren.
Both Dan and I are NASCAR fans; love to travel; golf, boat and camp. Dan loves to hunt and collects guns. I love to read, dig in my flowers, play cards and golf with my girlfriends, watch movies, and walk my little Skiberkee dog Mercedes. But, most of all just spend as much time as we can with our little granddaughter Alyssa, who lives in Mechanicsville, VA.
